Questions
What is the difference between Preeti and Unicode?
Preeti is a font: the file stores English letters and the font draws them as Devanagari, so the text breaks without the font. Unicode stores the Nepali letters themselves and shows correctly everywhere.
Why does the Preeti text look like random English letters?
That is how Preeti files are stored. The letters are the keys a typist pressed. Paste them as they are, and the converter maps each key to its Nepali letter.
Does the converter handle half letters and the reph?
Yes. It fixes the order of ि, moves the reph (र्) to its Unicode position and joins two-key letters such as फ, झ, ओ and औ.
